About WinCD

WinCD is a multimedia player for Windows. It is able to play CDs, MP3, Ogg Vorbis and Wave files. You can change the playback speed. The software can also digitally extract CD tracks and encode them into MP3. WinCD supports freedb and ID3 tags. More information can be found under [Info].

The new website is online. All pages are in XHTML format and should be displayed without problems in all recent browsers. If you find any errors or have any difficulties displaying these pages please drop me a note either via the [contact form] or via e-mail to

I also improved the content. You should find the information you need more easily. There is a new website search and a completely new [forum], because the old one doesn't comply with recent requirements.

The development of the new WinCD is progressing. I will release a beta version soon but at this time I can't give any date. Stay tuned. I wish all users a merry christmas and a happy new year.

After a long beta phase today the new WinCD 2.71 is released. It mostly fixes bugs, so it is strongly recommended to update to this version. Under [Info] you find information about the program. You can experience the new features in WinCD 2.71 [here]. As always you can try this program for free. Just [download it here].

For registered users this version is for free and without any limitations. Because I changed the key generation process, your old key isn't valid any more. But you should have received an e-mail with your new key, if you are already registered.

Please also use the new [forum]. Write all comments, suggestions for improvements and error messages down in the forum, so that everyone can read it. You can also give some feedback by e-mail to
